Aqua Park Benicàssim, turns 25 this June. It was June 4, 1986 when "AQUARAMA" opened its doors for the first time to the unexpectant public, unaware of these facilities so popular elsewhere, as the U.S.. In its opening to the public attended the great filmmaker Luis G. Berlanga, who died recently.  

At first there were eight attractions in position, and an area of ​​30,000 m2. Currently there are sixteen - three of which are exclusive - and cover an area of 45,000 m2.

The opening of the "Space Shot" was a milestone in 1998 was the first attraction of its kind in Spain and remains the only of the same features. With this investment - which would mean 2,400,000.00 euros today - "AQUARAMA" strong commitment to becoming a major park in the national picture, which is why The House of Castellon in 1999 awarded the prize to the investment effort.

Later came other acquisitions, including the "Whirlwind", whose size makes it unique on the peninsula. This year, a slide-called "suicide bombers", dubbed the "Salto del Diablo" becomes the highest in Europe with its 30 meters high.

More than 4 million visitors visited this park - most of them from the Valencian community - and about 2,000 workers have been employed.
