Castellon Airport - Update

Castellon Airport

The new €150M Castellon Airport opened on 25th March 2011, but at the moment no airlines are operating from there and there are no flights on offer. It is now waiting for permits to allow planes to land.

Castellon Airport is about 75km north of Valencia located between Vilanova and Benlloch. 

The newly completed CV-13 link road means that it is only a 15 minute drive from Alcossebre.

It has a large two storey passenger terminal and was commissioned to provide more flights into the region.

New Hard Rock Festival this summer, near Marina d'Or.

Costa de Fuego Festival - Benicassim 20-21 July 2012

A new hard rock festival for 2012, Spain's Costa de Fuego, is brought to you by Maraworlds - the organisers of FIB. The festival held in Benicassim devoted to the most energetic rock, hardcore and metal genres.

The first acts confirmed are headliners are Guns N Roses on Friday, and  Marilyn Manson on Saturday, taking place at the Benicassim concert venue, Spain on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st July 2012.

Line-up: The latest additions are Satyricon, Angelus Apatrida, Architects, The Computers, Adrift, and Toundra.

They join headliners Guns N Roses, and Marilyn Manson plus Nightwish, Paradise Lost, In Flames, Baron Rojo, Obus, Hamlet, Amorphis, Katatonia, Rolo Tomassi, Noctem, Opeth, Lacuna Coil, WarCry, Berri Txarrak, Cancer Bats, We Are the Ocean, and Steel Horse. The line-up will feature three stages and more than 50 acts.
